Run Melbourne

Hey guys, so I participated in this run event called the "Run Melbourne" which they have like every year. So this is like my third time running in this events in my entire life, I did the city to sea run, that was only 5km and was my first run ever, and I had like the color run too, which was also 5km. However, this time I took on 10km at the Run Melbourne and it was awesome :)

Somehow, during this run, the first 5km felt a lot shorter than the 5km I had during my first run, awesome. But this time, we had to like run up and down hills, it was torture to run up the steep hills, but a breeze to run down the slopes hahahha :)

The Weather, hahhah we had like an awesome weather on that day (27/7/14), it was nice and sunny, not too cold and not too hot :) but it was a bit chilly at the start as we were just standing around waiting for he run to start.

During the run, I felt really good because it has been awhile since I really exercise and this 10k was a great way to get me back on track, especially after Launceston :) We ran like through the shrine of remembrance and to somewhere that I have no idea where ahhaha, than to one end of yarra river, across a very very long bridge and than followed by some zig zag and end back at the yarra river front :) Sorry if that's a bit confusing to read.

You know, I almost vomited during the run, it came halfway up my throat and nearly came out, but it went back down, the taste was so bad, you know how vomit taste like right, it was just ughhhh, but overall the run was good. I sprint like the last few hundred metres and passed the finishing line and was like totally out of energy. Than they gave us an apple with a bottle of water, the apple was so sweet and juicy :) just what I needed, but my legs were exhausted after that ahhaha. I'll definitely go for more in the near future :)

Anyways, this has been a long overdue post that I am gonna publish now hahaha, just to put it out there for those who are looking to start and get into running, I totally support you and when you get started, you will feel great, its different when you run in the gym causes you'll be staring at the same few the whole time. As for running outside, of course you run to different places but it also challenges you up those hills and it just feels great to run with fresh air and a partner or with a group of friends.

That's all for this post, see you on the next one :)
Live the adventure

Japanese cotton cheesecake

Okay okay, if you don't already know, I actually like to bake. Like for fun and it's also my interest. I don't know when did I developed this interest but I liked baking and cooking ever since I was young. Guess because I really really love food hahaha food all the way 😃✌️

Anyways, today's menu was for my sister, she's been asking for it ever since I said I wanna bake something! And she just like to eat this cheesecake. Hopefully it turns out good hehehee, it's a Japanese cheesecake, which is a really light and cotton feel cheesecake that is not too rich, but still has the cheese taste there, here's some pics of the cake.

Mixing the cheese and egg mixture together. Somehow baking makes me feel calm and it relaxes me in a different way, which I like and best part is that you get to eat, kill 2 birds with one stone hehe 😈🍰🍰🍰

This is the end product of it and now we just need to wait till it's completely chilled so we can dig in into a slice hehehehe

And this concludes the end of this blogpost, till next time
Peace!

Graduation "It's a new beginning"!

As it is a new beginning, this calls for a new introduction. For you who don't know me, I'm Daryl and I'm from Kuching, A small but a wonderful little city in Sarawak of Malaysia. When I was young, I've always been a rascal and would always be the one to cause trouble and cry. I would say I had a really really worrisome childhood hahaha, not for me but my parents. I never like studying before and it had stuck with me all the way till high school.

However, I started focusing on my english ever since as I was hugely influenced by my grandpa. He always insisted that we need to brush up on our english as it is very important and would be extremely help full to us next time, and oh my how I wish I had listen to him more, he was so right, besides being an international language where most countries would know and understand, it became my most valuable knowledge and skill to have them as I was later able to understand and learn a lot more out here.

It has been 5 years since I've graduated from my high school and man I miss those days. Those were the days where you're just carefree and would do anything for fun. And I had so many good and crazy fun times with my classmates. And ever since coming out here to Melbourne and pursuing my further studies, I've learn a great deal lot about my course and other real life situations.

And so, after what it seems to be like a long time, I finally graduated with a Bachelor degree at the University of Melbourne and I am just so proud of myself, I've been told that my results would get me no where when I was in high school, you could imagine how I felt coming from one of the teachers in my school, ridiculous. But I proved to everyone that you can do it, when you put your mind and work hard a little, everything is possible. on 12 Dec 2015, I graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree and it was a pleasure to be graduating with my fellow graduates of class 2015. Had been a rather crazy ride and I am so ready to get out into the world and start earning my living.

I have such big plans for my future and its just getting started, but I guess I have to work hard for the next few decades hahaha to earn myself a place in the world. You have to start somewhere, I started to gain some interest in the social world and am starting to blog more, I guess why I developed this interest was because of my girlfriend, she started blogging way before I did and I just followed, It was interesting as when I started it myself, it was rather calming and I actually enjoyed it, being able to share a part of my life with you guys, Hopefully to be able to inspire some of you at the end of my blog.

If you would like, I also am planning to start a youtube channel and would try my best to create some vlogs, but I would probably start making 1 video a week only. Do check me out when I do at (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCssrORvRyowV7BZXWSweakA). I also have an Instagram where I mostly post about food (lyradsmight). Guess that's all for now and I'll keep the blogs coming :)

Sorry for the quite blur picture !!

Peace out, see you on the next blogpost :)

Unexpected naked surprise

Hi everyone

So today on the 24th of September 2014, in my second year of uni, I attended lecture like any other normal day, just that the weather started to get a lot warmer and hotter. Not looking forward to the summer heat here in Melbourne, luckily I'll be going back to Singapore and Kuching at the end of the year :)

However, let me get back to the main point of this post, so, just when my lecturer was about to start the lecture, a group of l dono how many people, I think it was like 100 over or something, students maybe, or just random people ran through our lecture theatre butt naked. Yes but naked, no clothes, nude.

I was shocked I tell you, never have I experience or see such a thing in my life, definitely very eye opening ahhahaa.

It was wowwwww, you can see the girls and boys naked man, like the girls boobs bouncing around as they ran and the guys long dangling there, it was just OMG , no words man hahahaha.

Furthermore, after they gone out, my lecturer was like wow and the rest of us just laugh ahhahah. He was like, I've not been here very long but do they always do that? Hahahaha hilarious ahhaa.

Then later I thought to myself, why didn't I use my phone and take a picture or two, but it was way too late for that ahhahhaa. Guess I was still stun then. But there was also more guys then girls, a aignificant more, the girls in the lecture were all giggling, they must have enjoyed the VIEW eh ahhahhaa.

Anyways I guess that's the most exciting thing that happen here today. But after class, when I was heading home for lunch, I pass southlawn which is a part of my uni, and there were a crowd of people playing water, girls were in their bikinis and guys in their shorts/underwear.

Uni life eh hahahaa, anyways that's all for now

Till next time guys

Couldn't believe it myself. Time just flew by and I really enjoyed my self being with her, every moment, whether we are doing something exciting together or just chilling beside one another :)
My love dedicated a post for me and here is my dedication to her.

Hi darling, this is for YOU <3
I know I'm late with this post, but better late then never right!
So this have been our 6th month together, and that's more than 180 days hahahhaha
I've never been happier, I know right, the day I asked you to be with me was the happiest day of my life, my heart was beating against my chest and I literally thought it was gonna pop out.
But when you said YES! I was over the MOON! I was happier beyond imagination and I would never trade that day for anything :)

This past 6 months have been surreal for me too, all the time we spent together and just enjoying each others company, I couldn't have asked for more.
Thank you for all the wonderful time together darling :)
I cant wait to see you again soon and to just spend more time with you dear :)
No time in the world is enough, I just want to spend every moment with you. And we will definitely have more time together :)

Ever since you said yes, I've been living in a dream with you
Ever since you held my hand, my hand never been warmer

Onesies

Hahhahaha hi guys, okie, so this post is dedicated to our onesies hahahhaa. so apparently our cousins decided that we should like all dress up for HALLOWEEN and my sisters birthday as onesies. So the theme for this years' Halloween is onesies hahahaha. Yea, I know right, Halloween is like months away ahhaha, but yea, they were so excited about it that they decided to get them first hehehe. And I got mineeeeeeeeee :)

It's so funny I tell you, I guess it's because I've never had any onesies ever and so when I tried it on, I started dancing around it ahaha, A video will be posted on my facebook page and my youtube channel. I think this would be like my first youtube video hahhaa, dont judge, I created the channel for fun heheheh :)

Anyways, the onesies are so cute, of course they don't look anything like the real thing but yea, CLOSE ENOUGH!! hahahha
They are super warm I tell you, perfect for winter ahhhhahaa. they are so comfyyyyyy. I would love to sleep in them hehehehhee. They are actually quite large, I wonder whether I can fit someONE inside with me or not hahhahhahahhahahah :)

SO, as this is specifically for Halloween, WE decided that we will only post pictures of our backs and not the fronts hehehhehee.

So stay tune and I'll post the front and the video soon enough :)
Toodles :)

Launceston, Tasmania

Hi guys, I'm finally blogging again, this winter break(2014) have been crazy I tell you hehehhee. But it was awesomeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. Loved this winter break hehehe. Anyways, I'll do another post on the great ocean road trip that I had with my best friend and my girl.

So, back to Launceston, I went to Launceston with Cam and you know what, straight on the first day, before our flight, we were delayed for I don't know how long and we just sat there on the floor hehehhee.
After the delay, we boarded and was on our way hehehe, guess what, just before we got to land
the pilot told us that the Launceston airport was covered with fog and we couldn't land, just great!
Anyways, the pilot told us that if the fog don't clear up, we would have to fly back to Melbourne or go to Hobart first, OMG! SERIOUSLY! hahahaha, anyways we just circled the air for quite awhile and the fog finally cleared enough for us to land, WooHooooooo :) Happy for us :)

OK moving on, so what did I do there?
We didn't do much on the first day actually, we just bought some groceries and stayed home for the rest of the day. And we slept really really early
The next day, I explored the city and I can say that I walked the entire city in just that day. It wasn't big at all hehhee, it was a very very little city. But you know what, it is a really nice place actually, its really quiet like seriously, there's practically no one in the city at dark. and its really cold there, like every night when you go outside, you can see the smoke coming out of your mouth when you breathe, and even from your nose. it was cool, but cold hahhaa :) And like even the grass froze over in the morning giving this really nice white looking grass like in the morning, it's just so nice and peaceful there.

The best part for me was that I got to spend time with cam and just enjoyed each others company and time :) But it was hard having to leave, can't believe like 3 weeks of holidays just passes like that, and bam I'm back here in melbourne :(
But it's okay, time will come again :)

Anyways, in Launceston, we went to cataract gorge and sat on the world longest chairlift :) Woohooooooooooooo, yippy for us :) accomplishment unlock (teehee)
It was definitely a new experience and like I never sat on anything like that before, its not really scary actually, even though it is quite high and not much safety straps, pictures below :)
The only thing that we didn't enjoy there was that this kid was like swinging the suspension bridge they had over there even though they were signs that say don't. Hellooooooo DON'T!, don't you understand english, ishhhhhh. The signs say no but you just have to do it eh. the worst part was that there was this lady said that it is okay, she lives here or something like that, its either the mother of the kid or just a friend, I was like shock, how can you say its okay, there are so many tourist on the suspension bridge and the kid was straight in the middle deliberately shaking the entire bridge. YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT'S GONNA HAPPEN!

Anyhow, besides the cataract gorge, my friend david recommended us on trying two burger places that is supposedly the best they have in Launceston, burger got soul and flipburger :)
Oh man, they were both gooddddddd, yummyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy in my tummyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy :)
actually you know what, I prefer flip burger over burger got soul, one is that I find that the burger at flip burger is nicer than the burger got soul, the buns were nice and soft and everything goes so well together :)
secondly, they have sauce for the fries, unlike burger got soul, and that the fries comes together with the burger and not separate like BGS. And finally its cheaper too, awesome right, but that's just my opinion hahahaa, but loads to try still :)

Furthermore, at cam's campus, they have this like event called the lazy sunday where people all over the school that wants to chill and have a BBQ and play some games gather, it was awesome, I went once only and I already like it, it's so nice how people just gather and chat, make friends and play games. And plus, I made quite a few friends there :) and I was somehow reacquainted with one of my friend that I had tuition with at ELC last time, which was like very long ago. He changed a lot and for a moment, even I couldn't recognize him, after that, we played basketball the next day with them and it was AWESOME! Had so much fun even though I played with my sandals, worst decision ever but I had no choice because I didn't bring my shoe. But who gives a shit hahahaahhaa

Lastly, we bought a carton of somersby apple cider which was like 50 AUD, its really cheap already :) and it was yummy, so gooddddd. And we had like steamboat the day before I left for melbourne, it was so good, yummy in my tummy, had lamb strips, pork, noodles, veges, and so on....... I also made cola chicken but the cola didn't reduce enough for us to it that night, too bad, but cam had it like the next day and she like it, yayyyy hahahhaha :)

I guess that's all that I had to say about Launceston, the place was great, but the people I stayed and had fun with was da best :)
Oops I forgotten to mention this place, this is a chocolate fudge milkshake and it is just so good :) yummy
This is from cocobean chocolate and they have the best chocolate there :)
